Igloo Software Marks Milestone Year with Continued Transformation

Following a corporate brand refresh, new website, and 20% growth in monthly active users, the digital workplace leader enters 2023 with new mobile app and frontline worker functionality. 

Kitchener-Waterloo, ON — January 23, 2023 — Igloo Software, the leading provider of digital workplace solutions, spotlights its continued innovation to unite company workforces through digital communication, collaboration, and employee engagement with its modern intranet solution. To better unify the digital workplace experience for all workers regardless of where or how they work, Igloo will expand its intranet platform with the forthcoming enhancements that include a mobile app redesign and new “Flex Access” technology.

Igloo continues to innovate and build on its intranet solution to unify the workforce further. One of the many ways includes introducing “Flex Access” technology. “Flex Access” allows companies to open their digital workplace to all employees, particularly frontline workers, who may not have a corporate email address, so they can stay engaged, connected, and be productive in all the ways they work. In addition, the Igloo mobile app will be enhanced to provide users with a faster, smoother, and immersive digital workplace experience on the go. These updates plus the addition of new languages and opening new European data centers in 2022 further Igloo’s missions to help companies on a global scale develop solutions that support workers with flexible modules and communication touchpoints.

  • Average active monthly users realized double-digit growth at 20% from H1 2021 to H1 2022
  • Launched a new website streamlining a visitor’s experience
  • A 100% Customer Satisfaction Score (CSAT) for 2022
  • Record top of funnel demand with leads up over 75% from 2021
  • Named to Constellation Research’s Shortlist for Employee Digital Workspaces
  • The launch of two European data centers and the addition of nine languages to the platform in support of the company’s expansion plans
  • The People and Culture (P&C) team was recognized by the Canadian HR Awards as the HR Team of the Year, Fewer Than 500 Employees, presented by HRD Canada and Canadian HR Reporter.

This momentum comes on the heels of an extensive brand refresh that captures Igloo’s ambition for the future. The new brand identity builds upon Igloo’s trusted brand that was built over the past 14 years serving midmarket and enterprise customers from all industries across North America and Europe. Along with a new logo, color scheme, imagery, messaging, and corporate website, Igloo announced internal team updates such as the hiring of Tom Mall, chief financial officer, Don Prodehl, chief technology officer, the promotion of Kristen Ruttgaizer to chief people officer, and Chris Bondhus to chief marketing office. Igloo also welcomed 37 new employees.
