Igloo Software Named One of North America’s Fastest Growing Companies by Deloitte’s 2016 Technology Fast 500™

KITCHENER, NOVEMBER 16, 2016 — Igloo Software today announced it has again been named to Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and energy tech companies in North America. A leading provider of cloud-based modern intranet solutions, Igloo grew 138 percent between 2012 and 2015.

Igloo CEO Dan Latendre credits the rise of the digital workplace, including trends such as a widening generation gap, BYOA (Bring Your Own App), the war for talent, and an increasingly remote workforce, with the company’s continued revenue growth.

Overall, 2016 Technology Fast 500 companies achieved revenue growth ranging from 121 percent to 66,661 percent from 2012 to 2015, with an average growth rate of 290 percent.

The recognition by Deloitte comes on the heels of several other notable awards for Igloo Software, including being recently named Best Intranet Software for 2016 by CMS Critic and a TMT Technology Award for Most Cutting-Edge Cloud Hosted Intranet Solution.

Technology Fast 500™ provides a ranking of the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and energy tech companies – both public and private – in North America. Technology Fast 500 award winners are selected based on percentage fiscal year revenue growth from 2012 to 2015.

In order to be eligible for Technology Fast 500 recognition, companies must own proprietary intellectual property or technology that is sold to customers in products that contribute to a majority of the company’s operating revenues.
